HND students from BMet are showcasing their final major projects, each embedded with a considered and compelling narrative ranging from the evolution of mobile devices to celebrating the city of Birmingham.
As Graphic Designers they understand the importance and power of high quality visual communication. Neeraj Kainth a 2nd Year HND designer says, “we’ve been taught to consider everything within our work – whether it’s colour, type, layout or semiology there is reasoning behind it.”
Based in the FEED Studio at Millennium Point they are a diverse group of students of different ages and backgrounds. Jane Lax, also a designer on the HND course says, “we’re all so different but that’s what makes us collectively successful. We often discuss ideas and this collaboration helps us focus our own personal journey with our work.” Exhibits include commentary on children’s toys, self confidence, musical notations and many more.
