Digbeth Art Space presents “In Flux”, a portraiture exhibition by thread artist Imogen Morris.
The exhibition explores the material thread in innovative and intriguing ways to transform Imogen’s portraits into 3D installations and to push ideas of how we perceive and engage with thread within a fine art space.
Imogen’s method of making her portraits consists of wrapping thread around nails which pinpoint the contours of the face to build up a mesh-like form made up of triangles.
