Finding freedom in freelancing
Zoë Barker has been working as a freelance illustrator for the best part of 15 years, but there was a point during that time when picking up a pencil filled her with panic. Zoë shares an overview of her career, how she has adapted her working practice to manage her mental health, and how we can support ourselves and others within our industries.
Zoë Barker is an illustrator who specialises in conveying the magic of the mundane and every day. She draws buildings and environments and the people who interact with them, usually in colouring pencil and watercolour.
