Designing Indulgence: Taking Marshmallows from Bags to Boutiques

A talk about craft, flavour, and the art of turning something everyday into the treat everybody wants! The Marshamallowist started on Portobello Road market in 2013 whipping up marshmallows in flavours such as raspberry and champagne and passionfruit and ginger. Their first stockist was Harvey Nichols and they now serve up marshmallows and teacakes to the worlds’ foremost luxury retailers- from Fortnum and Mason to the Royal Scotsman.

So what makes these marshmallows so special? Oonagh and Jenny will be showing the design process and detail that takes something from being ‘sweet’ to ‘considered’ So come with a craving, this is a sticky session, you might be asked to get involved and of course… give them a taste.
