PoliNations – A super virtual garden
Paul Reardon
Co-founder of Peter and Paul
What would your thoughts, feelings and experiences look like as plant life? The virtual super garden captures our perceptions of self and imagines them as hyper-real flowers that can then be planted in Augmented Reality. Part of PoliNations, a city centre forest-garden of supernatural proportions arriving in Birmingham this September, the project tells the story of how and why we are such a multicultural nation through plants – a celebration of our differences, roots and freedoms. Paul Reardon, co-founder of Peter and Paul, will talk about the digital experience of PoliNations, the importance of translating its concept into a digital reality and get to the roots of the virtual super garden.
