Melanie will talk about her body of work that was created in response to forgotten places in Birmingham, reflecting her love of spaces which are often neglected, found hidden between urban and rural places, often overgrown yet full of life. This collection of works recently toured to venues in the UK and is accompanied by a short film. Melanie will have one of the artworks with her to demonstrate the multiple processes used in its creation.
