This talk was originally Papa Akuffo’s ‘Techno-optimist to techno-realist’ talk, however Papa is unfortunately unwell.

Gallantly stepping into his place his is BDF 2025 speaker and Editorial Creative Director at The Guardian, Chris Clarke. Chris is a wonderful speaker who will be presenting his ‘Acts of Change’ talk, which he delivered during our BDF symposium at Falmouth University earlier in the year. Across three acts ‘Becoming’, ‘Doing’ and ‘Attending’ Chris will cover his career through the lens of Change, as something you respond to, design for and push against and eventually hold.
