Cat will capture the truth of working creatively in a healthcare setting. She will explore traditional approaches to design in hospitals and why, in designing for children, Artfelt deliberately moved away from these expectations. Reflecting on how outdated approaches alienate patients and contribute to a hospital’s institutional feel, she’ll show how the child’s voice can sway decision making in the creative process.
