Yukai Du
Illustrator, Animator
Yukai Du is an illustrator and animator from Guangzhou, China, now based in London, UK. Inspired by the textures of Impressionism and the playful precision of geometric forms, she creates bold, colourful works that bridge the worlds of still and moving images. Her signature style is built from simple elements like lines, dots, geometric shapes, and patterns layered into vibrant compositions which sometimes become surreal landscapes, multi-layered tech worlds, or abstract visions of feelings. Her distinctive approach has led to collaborations with clients including Adobe, Apple, Moleskine, Nike, Google, WeTransfer, LUSH, The New Yorker, The Guardian, TED Talks and many more. Since graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2014, Yukai’s work has been recognised by the World Illustration Awards, the ADC Awards, D&AD, and the Annecy Animation Film Festival. Whether through illustration or animation, she combines analogue sensitivity with digital craft, creating work that feels tactile, immersive, and alive.
