My name is Nikolaos Finizio (sometimes written Nicola Finizio) and I’m an Italian-Greek 2D animator, VFX artist and illustrator based in the UK.

I began my career in commercials and videogames but soon started working as an animator on films and TV productions. Over the years I’ve had the chance to work for some amazing clients like Sony Imageworks, Netflix, Riot Games, Adult Swim, Sergio Pablos Animation as well as directing and designing music videos. I have also been a guest teacher at international animation schools like Gobelins Paris and IED Milano.

Most recently I have worked as a lead 2D FX animator on SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE, for which I won an ANNIE award for Outstanding FX in an Animated Feature and a VES award for Outstanding FX Simulations in an Animated Feature. Currently I’m writing and directing my first short animated movie.
