Kim Quazi

Kim has significant experience in brief development, client and stakeholder engagement and technical delivery; he has a particular interest in the design of education, transport buildings and urban realm infrastructure.
In the transport sector he led the design development team for Kings Cross Station Western Concourse Mezzanine Building sitting under new curved roof to the west of the existing main train sheds. The complex gerometrail form of the mezzanine has bold tiled facade.The project is currently on site and due for completion in early 2012.
He has recently completed a study for HS2 demonstrating that a large scale High Speed Rail station can be successfully integrated into the Leeds cityscape.
Kim studied at the University of Edinburgh and joined Richard Rogers Partnership in 1992. He worked on a wide variety of projects including the Channel 4 Headquarters, extensions to Marseille Airport, Heathrow Terminal 1 and a large residential scheme in Berlin for Daimler Benz.
