
Daniel Blyden
Design lead at Impact Hub Birmingham
Daniel is designer, facilitator and creative producer interested in the role of design in leadership and building design capacity in people, organisation structures and systems. He is currently visual design lead at Impact Hub Birmingham and co-founder of Spaghetti, a strategic design and social innovation collective.
His work at Impact Hub Birmingham ranges from the production of communication materials for events and projects, to design research on systemic challenges in the city and the convening of changemakers as part of the Hub’s core mission streams.
Aside from this, recently, Daniel has been involved in the development of CoLab Dudley, a social lab based out of a coffee shop called Gather in Dudley, using his skills to support with the production of festivals and experimenting with new ways for people to participate in learning about the places they live.
Daniel also hosts design jams in Birmingham as part of a global network creating spaces for people to experience human centred design and other methods, building innovators rather than innovations.
