On Thursday 19th August BDF Conference kicks into gear with 3 exciting talks from artists who celebrate colour every day through their work.
Through the conference Vito hub we’ll be sharing three 30 minute films from our speakers, followed by a live Q&A where you can pose questions in the live chat.
With commissions for Apple, Disney, Marvel and Vans to name but a few, MURUGIAH is an award-winning artist based in the UK. Creating psychedelic pieces with bold colours and detailed graphical compositions, MURIGIAH will share his relationship with colour in a film shot by Jack Woodhams of PosterSpy.
Liz West creates vivid environments that mix luminous colour and radiant light. West aims to provoke a heightened sensory awareness in the viewer through her works. In her talk, Liz discusses her journey through University to the present day, her relationship with sensory awareness and commissions she’s produced over the past few years.
Daniel Eatock is renowned for his exploration of the wit and conceptual irony that exist in everyday objects and situations. He devises systems, templates and opportunities for collaboration inviting contributors to shape the outcome and participate in the creation of his work. We’re excited to share an insight into his work and practice during the event.
