Supporter profile: Folk
We welcome the Digbeth creative agency Folk as a Supporter for this year’s festival.
A female owned creative agency founded in 2019 and based in Digbeth, Folk has the experience of a big agency, with the personal touch of a small one. Focused on building better brands through inspired thinking and exceptional creative, they strive for strong relationships founded on trust with both their team and clients, believing that ’total transparency’ is the foundation to really push the boundaries of what good work looks like.
Folk humanise brands. Whether that means helping big global brands and retailers connect more meaningfully with consumers, or showing B2B clients how to develop a more emotional, approachable side, they believe that although the brands that shout that loudest might get heard, it’s the ones who speak the smartest that make people listen, which is why ‘a better way of thinking’ is at the heart of everything that they do.
Working with fantastic brands like L’OR, Kenco, Tassimo, Pret, Fulfil, Pataks, Blue Dragon, Searcys, Microsoft and the University of Nottingham, Folk’s client list continues to go from strength to strength, seeing the agency grow from a duo to a team of 9 in less than 3 years, with no signs of slowing down.
An agency full of proud Brummies (and yam yams), the Folk team have watched and participated in BDF since the beginning, so are delighted to support the festival this year.
“We are excited to support Birmingham Design Festival 2022. We are very proud of our Birmingham roots and are delighted that we are in a position to support such a fantastic event. We are also excited to be attending, so if you see any of the Folk team at the festival please do say hi!”
