We’re delighted to welcome Read-Only Memory’s Darren Wall as presenter for Thursday’s Digital Play Programme. This day of talks on game design at Mama Roux’s will feature speakers discussing their careers and passion for video games.

Read-Only Memory publishes high-quality books that document great moments in videogame history. Their books recognise the pioneers, milestones and titles that have shaped the industry. The company was founded in 2012 by Darren Wall and is based in London, UK.

Darren is a publisher, art director and creative consultant based in Barcelona, Spain. He founded Read-Only Memory in 2012 with the aim of creating visually spectacular, extensively researched and beautifully written titles, which would document the pioneers, milestones, titles and cultures that have shaped the games industry.

Digital Play will take place on Thursday 6th June and extends our free Digital programme of talks, with tickets now available to book for each event.

Our friends Dead Pixels will be providing entertainment all day with some retro consoles around the venue to help you really immerse yourself in the gaming world.
