Feeling our way through a new dawn of emotional intelligence
Karen Newman
Founder and CEO of BOM
Weaving references between art, popular culture and AI, Karen Newman (Founder and CEO of BOM, an immersive arts organisation) explores the power of emotional intelligence (EI), and how different bodies, brains and lived experiences create unique byproducts of the imagination. Can AI ever really compete with human experience? What will be the possibilities for new sensory experiences with machines? And how will higher intelligence define our futures in a new, extended reality?
