Change is a fact of life. John will explain how his practice has developed from print media to live performance, lifting words from the page and saying them out loud. Expect visual and spoken poetry direct from John’s heart, driven by themes of hope, loss, faith and love.

John Joseph Holt is an award-winning writer, artist and founder of British documentary publication, LAW magazine. Launched in 2011, LAW is a celebration of modern Britain that hails the unsung. In 2023 Holt’s poem ‘The Island Life’ for the Channel 4 idents won gold at the British Arrows and his debut ‘Bite the Bullet’ poetry tour included performances at We Out Here, Glastonbury and Rally festival. He lives and works in the Fenlands, East Anglia.
