We’re delighted to welcome one of Britain’s oldest foundries Lunts Castings as Bronze sponsor for BDF 2025
Lunts Castings have been crafting and making artwork, hardware, and objects in non-ferrous metals for nearly 100 years in Birmingham.

We’re delighted to announce our support for Birmingham Design Festival 2025.
Based in Birmingham since 1930, our foundry continues a long tradition of metalworking in the city – a heritage that has shaped both our identity and our approach. We’re proud to uphold this legacy while embracing the future of design, working closely with artists, designers, and architects to make pieces that are not only technically precise but also rich in meaning and material honesty.

Our work bridges traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design thinking, and we see Birmingham Design Festival as a vital platform for this dialogue. The festival’s commitment to celebrating creativity in all its forms mirrors our own belief that design is a collaborative, hands-on process grounded in material knowledge.
We’re excited to support BDF in 2025 and helping to showcase the role of making within the wider design conversation. Whether it’s artwork, architectural hardware, or lighting, the process of casting bronze is one of transformation – turning ideas into enduring objects.
As Birmingham continues to grow as a centre for innovation and creativity, we’re proud to contribute to its cultural landscape and to champion the role of craft within it.
