We’re excited to welcome The Printmakers as our Digital Hub venue hosts for BDF 2026
Proud District Partners, The Printmakers, are welcoming Birmingham Design Festival attendees into their refurbished factory space to enjoy three days of fantastic talks as this year’s hosts of our Digital Hub.
A staple of the Digbeth skyline, The Printmakers Arms is a multipurpose event space located only a five-minute walk from Moor Street Station.
Nestled amongst Digbeth’s creative quarter, opposite the brand-new BBC Digbeth site, this independently owned, refurbished factory space is a blank canvas, ready to be transformed into your perfect event space. Once home to Mission Print, The Printmakers has since hosted Flatpack Film Festival, wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, local film crews, club nights, LGBTQ+ community events and even served as a rehearsal space for Birmingham Opera. Now, we are proud to be providing our venue free of charge to Birmingham Design Festival, supporting Luke, Dan, Lindsay, the wider BDF team and nurturing creative talent in our beautiful city.
We can’t wait for audiences to discover what a unique and versatile venue The Printmakers is; our space has capacity for 400 people indoors and 200 in the courtyard, a well-stocked bar licensed until 2am (with options to extend to 4am on request), friendly security plus the knowledge and advice from the production team behind Mostly Jazz and Moseley Folk Festivals.
