Better by Design: Seven19 are back at BDF 2026
Healthcare design studio Seven19 are returning as sponsors for BDF’s 2026 Festival. Find out more about what Seven19 do and their excitement at being part of this year’s festival.
Designing for healthcare means designing for people when they most need things to work. For patients navigating a diagnosis. For clinicians who need tools that hold up at the bedside. For founders racing to get the next generation of care to the people it’s meant to serve. These are design problems whose consequences ripple far beyond a screen or a shelf — and that’s what keeps us excited about the work.
We’re Seven19 — a NYC-based healthcare design studio creating products, services and brands for healthcare and medtech. Our partners range from Fortune 500s to the founders and entrepreneurs building what comes next. Our single aim is to make healthcare better by design. Better products. Better tools. Better experiences for patients, for the clinicians who treat them, and for the teams working to change the system.
“Healthcare is one of the most interesting problem spaces design can work in. The constraints are real, the stakes are high, and the work lands in the hands of people who actually need it. BDF brings together the designers who get that — and that’s why we’re proud to back it.”
Giorgio Baravalle, Head of Design, Seven19
Why does a New York healthcare design studio support a festival in Birmingham? Because we’ve been hugely inspired by what Luke, Dan, and the BDF team have built: a community of designers, makers, strategists, and students using their craft to make things better. The work we’re doing in NYC to bring designers together around healthcare is directly inspired by BDF, and sponsoring the festival is one of the ways we get to stand alongside the community that’s shown us what’s possible.
If you’ve ever wondered whether your design skills could matter in healthcare — whether you’re drawn to the patient experience, to products and services, or to working with founders bringing new ideas to market — we’d love to hear from you.
“We started Seven19 because we believed healthcare deserved the same care and craft the best consumer brands get. Supporting BDF is one of the ways we stay close to the design community that makes that possible.”
