Digbeth joins BDF 2022 as Illustration District Partner
Digbeth is a place in Brum which is very close to our heart so we can’t wait to welcome them back as Illustration District Partner for BDF2022!
We’re welcoming Digbeth back as Illustration District Partner for BDF2022. Home to a number of our venues for this year’s festival, Digbeth is a growing neighbourhood of friendly, creative people in Birmingham’s former industrial heartland.
Digbeth is all about supporting creatives in all forms. It has a thriving street art scene, it supports creatives through start up office spaces, it often hosts film and photo shoots in the area and even has its own font family, Digbeth Sans (created by Colophon Foundry).

“Digbeth is the home of creativity in Brum. The talented creatives based here in Birmingham’s iconic Creative Quarter are passionate about individuality, artistry, and ingenuity. The new Creative Content hub opening at The Bond later this year is set to welcome more creatives from TV, film & digital media to Digbeth allowing us to further cultivate our passionate community. Hosting BDF in Digbeth is a privilege for us and we look forward to welcoming an impressive array of influential designers to our thriving neighbourhood.”
