<p>How did some of the some of the world’s best designers, strategists, and agency leads, get into design? How did they know it was even a thing they could form a career around? The My Life in Design podcast is a collaboration between design-focused PR agency Red Setter and the Design Business Association. Hosted by Red Setter founder, Claire Blyth, the podcast aims to share the many different ways you can get into the design industry through guests shared experience of education, first jobs, and how they got to where they are today. Guests to date have included Pentagram’s Paula Scher, Brian Collins of COLLINS, Dines of Studio BLUP and D&amp;AD President Jack Renwick.</p>

<p>In this episode of My Life in Design, recorded live in person at the Birmingham Design Festival, host Claire Blyth will be speaking to Nick Eagleton, co-founder and ‘Playful Saboteur’ of design studio Saboteur. Nick will be sharing his life in design from when he first discovered that design was something he could base a career on, his education, first jobs and how he got to where he is today as co-founder of Saboteur; a people-first agency with no formal job titles, no set holiday allowance, flexible teamwork and open communication. Nick will also be sharing his tips to young designers on how to get in and stand out in the design industry today.</p>
