Thanks so much for signing up to volunteer for the Birmingham Design Festival.

Here's some useful info you need to take note of:

Volunteer Rota

Please check your allocated shift times and let us know if you are unable to volunteer or if you’ve booked tickets to events which clash with your shifts.

It’s absolutely crucial that you let us know if you can’t make a shift as soon as possible. This allows us to forward plan and avoid wasted resources like ordering your lunch if you’re not going to make it.

Where do you meet for your shift?

Wednesday 6th June

If you’ve been scheduled to work a shift on Wednesday, please meet us at Medicine Bakery Gallery, 69 New St, Birmingham B2 4DU. NOT THE DISTRICT HUB

Thursday 7th, Friday 8th, Saturday 9th

Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift start time at the District hub you’ve been allocated.  Either Product: BCU School of Jewellery Digital: BCU Steamhouse or Graphic: Birmingham Midland Institute. 

Sunday 10th

Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift start time. The Graphic Hub will be: Ropepress on Sunday.  With  Product: BCU School of Jewellery and Digital: BCU Steamhouse remaining the same.

It includes information on volunteer rules, health and safety and general information about the festival. We’ll recap on all of this at the beginning of your volunteer shift. The main things to remember are to listen carefully to instructions on health and safety and emergency procedures and the briefing given by your Volunteer Co-Ordinator on the day. Please arrive 15 minutes before your shift.
