The Big One. Our third and final evening celebration in the Graphic District with four incredible intergalactic speakers. We claimed the eye-popping new Conservatoire especially for this line-up to showcase some of the most visually exciting work out there. Come for the mouth watering visuals and stay for the larger than life characters you’re sure to fall in love with (if you’re not already besotted).

Kicking things off will be the Yarza Twins – Marta and Eva – an independent London-based multidisciplinary studio with a bold and beautiful portfolio that spans branding, coding, animation, typography, filmmaking and illustration. The twins grew up in Vigo – a city on the Galician coast – and went to university in Madrid. They moved to London after living in New York (where Eva interned with Sagmeister & Walsh) and set up their own studio in London’s Southbank area in 2016.

Up next is helloMuller – the studio of Belgian award-winning graphic designer and creative director Tom Muller (named as one of the top 100 designers working in the UK today by The Drum). He partners with, and designs for technology startups, movie studios, publishers, media producers, filmmakers, and ad agencies, and his work will dazzle you – it was made for this kind of venue.

After the break we’re very fortunate and excited to bring you a man who hardly needs an introduction – Aaron James Draplin. Firebrand, truth-teller, man of the people, vector-terrorizor, field-notes founder, motivational speaker and radical designer, Draplin is as sought after for his words of wisdom as he is for his design skills (and is in our opinion also one of the greatest copy-writers out there). We are incredibly fortunate to have AJD with us and his session is sure to leave you sweaty, challenged, changed, and quite possibly ready to take on the world. Come armed with questions, not to mention some spare change for the inevitable merch…and if you want still more Draplin (why wouldn’t you?) look out for the ticketed workshops he’ll be running on Sunday 10th. Unmissable. (We hope).

Yarza Twins

Creative Directors

Eva and Marta Yarza are Spanish graphic designers based in London and founders of the design studio Yarza Twins.

Born in Vigo, they both started collaborating on projects since a very early age. They left their hometown at 18 to study in Madrid, Eva studied BA Fine Arts and Marta studied BA Construction Engineering, then they left to London to complete their MA Communication Design studies at Central Saint Martins.

Eva worked in a couple of studios in London before heading to New York to work at Sagmeister & Walsh, when she came back to the city, she worked for a couple of other studios, Marta was meanwhile working in the city as an Art Director and they decided to join forces and retake their twins energy to create new and exciting projects.

They opened their studio a year ago, and so far they have had the pleasure of working with brands like HP, Smirnoff, FIA Formula E, Universal Music, Viceland and Adobe.

Their work focuses on concept and execution, they use their background in arts and architecture to craft each of their clients’ needs into something relevant, exciting and tangible.
